Before making a reservation, please read the guidelines below to ensure the best diving experience. But don’t worry—walk-ins are always welcome!
Grace period
Choose your reservation time carefully, considering travel time and any unforeseen delays. If you’re more than 10 minutes late, you’ll need to wait for the next available table. The same applies to your guests.
Available times
If your preferred time doesn’t appear in the selection field, it means we’re fully booked. Any changes to the number of guests or time mentioned in the notes section won’t be considered.
Group size
You can book a table for up to 6 people online. For larger groups, please make your reservation via WhatsApp by clicking here.
Changing your reservation
If you need to make changes, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance.
HOW TO GET HERE
To reach our place, head to Barra da Tijuca and take a small boat from one of the following points:
Ilha dos pescadores
(Estrada da Barra da Tijuca, 793)
Shopping Barra Point
(Av. Armando Lombardi, 350)
Saída Metrô Jardim Oceânico
(Exit A- Lagoa)
At each of these points, you’ll find a dock where you can catch a small boat. Just ask to be dropped off at OCYÁ (look for the dark blue house on Ilha Primeira). The fare ranges from R$5 to R$10 per person per trip.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long does the boat ride to the restaurant take?
Boats depart constantly from all access points, but we recommend arriving at the dock about 20 to 25 minutes before your reservation time.
Where is the nearest parking lot?
We recommend the following parking lots for a safe place to leave your car before taking a boat:
– Shopping Barra Point Parking (Av. Armando Lombardi, 350)
– Inter Lake Park Parking (Av. Nuta James, 38)
– Ilha dos Pescadores Parking (Estrada da Barra da Tijuca – Itanhangá)
Is OCYÁ pet-friendly?
Absolutely! Your furry friend is more than welcome here. 🐾
We just ask that they stay with you at your table at all times.
Is the island accessible for wheelchair users?
To reach OCYÁ, you need to take a boat, and unfortunately, the island’s docks do not yet have ramps for accessibility. We’re working on improvements to ensure that everyone can visit safely in the future.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept debit and credit cards, as well as cash. At the moment, we do not accept meal vouchers or food tickets.
I want to host an event at OCYÁ! What should I do?
To organize a private event at our place, we’ll need a few details: date, occasion (wedding, birthday, etc.), preferred time, and number of guests. Click here to chat with us on WhatsApp.
